ANNA BERGMAN, "a songstress who has triumphed in everything from Broadway-flavored tunes to opera arias and the sultry innuendoes of the cabaret chanteuse" (The Washington Post), was raised abroad as the daughter of an American diplomat and offers her signature repertoire which ranges from pop to opera in multiple languages. In her acclaimed new show "Wherever Love Takes Me", directed by Eric Michael Gillett with musical arrangements by Paul Greenwood, Anna explores a woman's journey in love with songs from Broadway songwriters such as Cole Porter ("In the Still of the Night"), Stephen Sondheim ("Send in the Clowns"), and Adam Guettel ("Fable"). European favorites include songs by Michel Legrand ("I Will Wait For You"), Andrew Lloyd Webber ("I’d Be Surprisingly Good For You") and Kurt Weill ("That’s Him") and contemporary writers such as Francesca Blumenthal ("Museum"), Julie Gold ("Journey") and Christine Lavin ("Regretting What I Said..."). In her "elegant and utterly enjoyable" show (Broadwayworld.com), Anna explores the wondrous, seductive, witty, ironic, biting, heartbreaking and enlightening aspects of love, in song.
